I just learned that Phil Lavigna, author of the nice ulteoadmin.com website has passed away on April, 1st. Phil was a very talented, humble and perfectionist guy. He wrote several books on Linux, including “Test driving Linux” at O’Reilly. I knew him for a long time, we spent many nights on writing contents and press-releases for Mandrakesoft. Phil was living in San Diego and we promissed someday we’d go have a few margaritas together in Mexico. He told me that there were many British Airways planes descending just above his flat for final approach, and he was always wondering if by chance I’d be on that plane… Phil will be missed a lot. All our thoughts go to his family. That’s two friends of mine trespassing in the past 3 weeks. Just too sad.
